Introduction: Today, we focus on the struggle between trust in God and the worry that often accompanies financial decisions.
Scripture Reflection: Matthew 6:25-26: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Trust Exercise:
- Identify areas of financial worry in your life.
- Reflect on how God has provided for you in the past.
Prayer: “Lord, help me to release my worries and trust that You are my provider, always caring for my needs. Amen.”
Reflection Journal: Write about a time when you worried about finances but saw God’s provision in unexpected ways.
Action Step: Take a practical step to trust God with your finances—whether it’s praying before making a financial decision or choosing not to worry about a specific financial concern.
